A Multimedia Opera Campaign
This project was a conceptual ad campaign for a Multimedia Opera show based on a poem by Nayyirah Waheed. The goal was to create a visually compelling advertisement using typography and image-making to communicate information about the "show". Through my many iterations and research, I started to understand the poem in a deeper way. As a result, I used the interpretation and created typography and images to best convey what the show would be about.
In addition to creating print ads, I also used Adobe Premiere Pro to create a 30-second video ad. This allowed me to explore different animation techniques and bring the show to life in a dynamic way. While the show itself was fictional, the process of creating the advertisement challenged me to think creatively and strategically about how to effectively communicate a message through both print and video formats.
